Owning an industrial unit or a series of manufacturing plants in UAE is profitable. Business has huge potential for those who are willing to invest and evolve. If you are an industrialist, then you are allocating a portion of budget on gas compressors to support the projects at your oil field and processing units. It is extremely essential to buy a gas compressor from a supplier that has considerable goodwill in the market. You are assured of service quality against your investment. But how do natural gas compressors work? Read along to know some interesting points on this matter.
The Pressure Measurements
Compressors work in distinct stages. The number of stages through which they work is determined by the exact measurements of the starting and the ending pressure in the unit, related to the concerned equipment and the requirement to be met. The delivery point of the pressure is pre-determined and its pressure of working compressors is gradually increased mechanically. A continuous monitoring process is administered to keep a tab on the measurement details. There are mechanical engineers and experts in industrial engineering who supervise the process, maintain industry standards and safety protocols.
Working of Compressors
It is not enough to know merely the measurement dynamics of pressure, but you should also stress on knowing about the exact working details of the compressors. When you are aware of the facts and procedures, it becomes easier for you to properly keep a tab on the functionality of the compressors at your industrial units with optimal strategies.
At the beginning, simply known as the beginning or the first stage, pistons of the compressors will increase pressure on the gas, to the extent of 155 psi. The temperature is slated to rise to the level of 260-degree Fahrenheit. The simultaneous heating plus cooling effects make the liquids to get discarded from the gas.
In the second stage, pressure further increases and reaches to the point of 490 psi. There is an increase in temperature to the tune of 270-degree Fahrenheit. Then, the gas again enters the cooler and the temperature drops down to 120 F. There will be more falling out of liquids.
In this stage, the pressure gets to a high-level of 1200 psi, and the temperature reaches 240 F. Hot gas will ultimately come outside the discharge through the cooler at 120 F. The remaining liquids will eventually drop out.
If you are aiming to purchase top-quality compressors for your plants, then it is advisable to approach trusted suppliers in UAE.
